This package is from Friday to Tuesday in 5 nights and 4 days with an extension to Bac Ha Sunday Market and Coc Ly Market. You will have 1 full day on the town and 1 day for Bac Ha colorful market on Sunday. We will use the luxury train lines from Victoria and you will stay in the luxury resort.

DETAILS OF THE LUXURY MARKET TOUR PACKAGE

Day 1 – Friday: Hanoi – Lao Cai for Sapa

Our luxury adventure trip starts with an overnight train journey from Hanoi to the border town of Lao Cai. Our English assistance will pick up & bring you to the Hanoi Station at 120 Le Duan Str., Hanoi for getting on the Victoria Sapa Luxury Express Train departure at 21:55 – 06:00.

Day 2 – Saturday: Lao Cai – Sapa (B/L)

The luxury train arrives at the Lao Cai train station at approximately 6:00 A.M. There will be a luxury vehicle waiting to transfer us to Sapa Town. The drive to Sapa is only 33 km but it takes around 1.5 hours. Once at Sapa Town, we will check into Victoria Sapa Resort and Spa (Early check-in subject to availabilty) and have breakfast at the Ta Van Restaurant of Victoria Sapa Resort and Spa and then enjoy a free morning to explore Sapa Market and the town. Meet your guide in the hotel lobby at 14:00 for a walking tour to the hilltribe villages of Cat Cat, home to the H’mong ethnic minority peoples. As you walk to the villages nestled in the valley below Sapa, you will meet some of the local minority people on their way to and from Sapa. In the village you have the opportunity to share cultural experiences with the families that live in the area. Overnight at Victoria Sapa Resort and Spa. Note: please enjoy the love market near the Church.

Day 3 – Sunday: Sapa – Bac Ha- Lao Cai – Victoria Train (B/L)

Awakening to the sounds of a new day, we eat breakfast at our hotel and head out for a stunning spectacular weekend market. Bac Ha is considered one of the most wonderful and colorful markets in extreme north Vietnam where thousands of local people in their traditional attire buy and sell the local products. Dogs, cats, pigs, horses… are all on sales. This is a golden opportunity to take your best photos! In the afternoon, we will take a pleasant walk to Ban Pho village, home to the flower H’mong people. This is a great opportunity to interact with the friendly locals and have pleasant walk amongst tribal villages. Overnight in Victoria Sapa Resort and Spa

Day 4- Monday: Sapa – Lao Chai- Ta Van

Breakfast at our Victoria Hotel. Let’s embark on a lovely  walk  that will take us along buffalo paths and trails and through several hill tribe villages of Lao Chai and Ta Van, home to H’mong, and Dzay people. This is a absolutely spectacular walk through stunning scenery inhabited by some of the friendliest people you can meet. Stopping for a picnic lunch on the way at a family in Ta Van village or on the bank of the Muong Hoa River. Overnight at Victoria Sapa Resort and Spa.

Day 5- Tuesday: Sapa- Coc Ly- Lao Cai

Pick you up Victoria, follow national road 70 traveling through the lush farm land of Lao Cai province for 42 km to Phong Nien Commune, turn left and follow provincial road 154 which sneaks through the country side along the Chay river for 17 km to Coc Ly which offers beautiful scenery of high mountains, narrow valleys and terraced rice paddies. Enjoy several photo stops along the way, especially of the beautiful tear farms near Phong Hai.  Arrive in the market place at about 09.00am, at crowded time of the market. Join local ethnic peoples for about 2 hours of the morning to enjoy the exciting atmosphere as well as activities of this weekly market. Walk from section to sections, corner to corners, seeing and smelling of different local product, spices, vegetable, farming tools, handicraft, even medicinal herb…especially meeting smiling peoples every where. Coc Ly is also famous cattle market where local farmers from villages in the region sell and by cows, horses, water buffaloes, pigs…, and there is a large ground just beside the main market place for this activity. The market is always crowded for the whole morning and over after lunch time.  Leaving the market at noon, boarding a motor boat and cruising down stream the Chay River for 1.5 hour to Trung Do village of the Tay which is beautifully set on the bank of the river. Spend about an hour walking to explore this charming village before continuing the boat trip briefly to Bao Nhai.  Enjoy late lunch in a local restaurant and then take 46 km road transfer back to Lao Cai station.

Dinner in the local restaurant. Be ready at Lao Cai station for Victoria Sapa Luxury Express Train back to Hanoi departure at 21:05-06:00. Overnight at Victoria Sapa Luxury Express Train. The trip ends at Hanoi station. Sapa Travel and its team hope to serve you next time.
